RANDOM THOUGH’S:

Well it happend again according to authorites a gunman cut through a fence to avoid security at the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival and as the band was playing their final song he opened fire with a rifle wounding at least 15 people. Three of the injured died including a 6 year old boy. Police shot him as festival attendees and performers ran for cover. The wounded were taken to various hospitals with conditions ranging from fair to critical, at least 5 were treated and released. Gilroy is a city of 50.000 people located about 80 miles southeast of San Francisco. Security had been tight for the event with those attending the festival going through metal deectors and having their bags checked. Band Member Jack Van Breen said he saw a man wearing a green shirt and a grayish hankerchief around his neck fire into the food area, he and other band members sought cover under the stage. Some witnesses said there was a second suspect, right not it’s not clear if he was armed or simply proviede assistance to the gunman. This was the end of the three day event which oftens draws a 1oo.000 people to the city known as the”Garlic Capital of the World”. I know that we can’t predict what darkness lies in the hearts of men, but we have to do something, This has gone on long enough.
