RANDOM THOUGHT’S:

We got blindsided! All the charges against Jusse Smollett were dropped yesterday. Cook County States Attorney Joseph Magats told CBS News “I do Not Believe he is Innocent ” after the Empire star’s legal team announced that his office had dissmissed the charges. He went on to say that dropping the charges that included 16 felony counts for staging the Janruary attack and lying to investigators, in no way vindicates or exonerates Smollett. The reason behind Smollett’s good fortune was summed up buy Magats saying that although he believes Smollett is gulity, his offices priority is violent crimes and the drivers of violence and Jusse Smollett is neither one of those. This move to drop the charges was shocking for most, Smollett has maintained his innocence in the weeks since he was accused of lying to Chicago Police. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel was visibly angry and called the move a “Whitewash of Justice” and took a swipe at Smollett asking ” Is there no decency in this man”? The police chief is standing by the results of the investigation which he says cost the city at least ten thousand dollars. Smollett’s lawyer L. Chris Stewart the Managing Partner and CEO of Stewart Trial Lawyers, said the actors record was wiped clean. And of course Stewart is now booking interviews. It’s the American way.
