RANDOM THOUGHT’S:

It’s offical former Special Counsel Robert Mueller will testify before the House Judiciary Committee according to chairman Jerrold Nader, he will also appear before the House Intelligence Committee headed by Adam Schiff. These committiees have long wanted to talk to Mueller, especially after the Attorney General released only a two page synopsis of the 448 page report Mueller’s team preparied. Many of the witnesses the committiee wanted to talk to have cited executive privilege to avoid testifying since they have worked for the Trump Administration in some capacity. President Trump has personaly asked some not to talk. This week is was announced that the White House  will bar Kellyanne Conway from testifiying before a House panel looking into allegations she violated the Hatch Act which says basically that if you are an elected offical you can speak your peace about a political canidate, but if you are employed by one such as President Trump then you have to keep your opinions to yourself during work hours or on the job. In a letter addressed to House Oversight committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) Pat A. Cipollone, counsel to the president said “in accordance with long standing precedent, we respectfully decline the invitation to make Ms. Conway available for testimony before the Committee” to which the House Democrats responded, the White House has no right to claim excutive privilege  or immunity for Ms. Conway the alleged violations deal with her personal actions, not her duties advising the president or working in the west wing. The take away here is “If you have nothing to hide, then why hide?”
