TERRIFIC THURSDAY WOAD 10/17/19 SCHOOL SHOOTING THREATS
Where does all the anger in our children come from? Police in Semimole Florida have arrested a 14 year old teenager after he threaten to carry out a mass shooting at his school, after he was forced to withdraw from classes due to fight he was involved in. The school gave his parents the option of withdrawing his or having him expelled on Tuesday as a result of a fight that occured last week. (Apparently his parents did not have a come to Jesus meeting with him) after withdrawing him. According the the Pinellas County Sheriff”s Office he allegedly sent text messages to a female classmate saying, ” I’m finna shoot that school up,” he apparently planned on targeting two students and a school faculty member specifically. A parent of the classmate notified the school, which triggered a temporary lockdown. Authorites decided to err on the side of caution and located the teen, he admitted to sending the messages but did not have a weapon. a further search of the home determined that he didn’t have access to weapon either. He would go on to admit to deputies that he made the threats because he was angry. He was arrested on charges of written threats to kill ordo bodily injury and taken to the Pinellas County Juvenile Center. Let’s pray that this will be a wakeup call for this young person, he now has a record that will be with him for the rest of his life, because he got mad.
