RANDOM THOUGHT’S:

I read a story this morning about a Georgia woman who claimed that two black teenagers were throwing rocks at her house when she shot at them. She hit a 15 old boy ine the head he remains in critical condition, she was arrested and has since posted a $12.400 bond. She is reported to have said she can look at blacks and tell if they are up to something because they are responsible for 99.9% of crime . Then there is the case of Keith Gomez a prominent Baptist preacher in Elgin , Illinois who argues that salvery was a good thing because it allowed Africans to escape Africa and come to America. He pastors the Northwest Bible Baptist church in Elign and in a recent sermon said slavery was a good thing because “if it wasen’t for slavery, those folks would still be in Africa running around with a bone in their nose”. He went on to say for those who disagreed ” some of you little whites can’t get either”. “That ain’t prejudice that is factual and historical”. No preacher this would be hysterical if it were not so serious, your thinking is flawed on so many levels, not even God himself forces his will on us, he never put shackels or manacles on us to force us to take on a Christ like lifestyle or to move us across ocean. As a peracher you should know that the word says it was a Damascus Road experience that caused one guy to change his name and profession and stop persecuting Jews, and another guy on an island call Patmos decided that he would change his way of thinking too. The commonality here is it was their choice, there was no choice in slavery for the slaves sir.
