RANDOM THOUGHT’S

Okay the world is a much more hostile place than it was when I grew up, back in the day neighbors could whip you if you out in the street messing up and you would likely get another whipping when your parents found out what you were up too. Nowadays children will curse you out and if you put your hands on them the parents will likely come for you, because you dared to correct their child. It’s sad because some of these wild children are turning into natural born killers. A recent report says gun violence in Jackson is up 56 over last year and I for one believe it! The report by a local TV station says someone is shot every 33 hours in Jackson. once upon a time people were content to throw a couple rights and left hooks if things got real serious, but typically we didn’t automatically seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem. According to Jackson Police department press releases 150 people have been shot or killed this year, is it any wonder business is leaving the city, or the ones that remain are not really investing in developing a bigger foot print in our city. All of this contributes to a srinking tax base and less money to fix our crumbling infrastructure.. Lets live and let live!
