TRUMP THOU SHALL NOT TWEET/ WOAD 07/15/19
Twitter President Trumps favorite media platform was the site his latest mistaken salvo of sarcasm. On Sunday evening President Trump tweeted that Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tiaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesoda and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts should go back to back to the countries they orignally came from. “Whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worse, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world”. He went on to say yhat these “Progressive Democrat Congresswomen should go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Them come back and show us how”… The problem here is Ms. Omar is the only one of the four born outside of the US. Over the years Trumps tweets have caused market volatility, started trade wars and diverted attention from things lawmakers really need to be talking about. Nancy Pelosi (D- Cal)who has recently been at odds with these freshman representatives called the tweets xenophobic and said that Mr. Trumps goal was making America white again”. Other democrats chimed in with their disapproval but on the republican side nothing but silence. At this point I am of the opinion that they need to keep the nuclear football and his phone away from Mr Trump.
